Congress will NOT vote on China joining the Trans-Pacific Partnership

The Obama administration and its supporters falsely assert the TransPacific Partnership is needed to counter China’s growing power, saying “if we don’t write the rules, China will write the rules for the global economy.” Leading experts in international trade and national security say China will benefit from the T.P.P. In fact, China will join the T.P.P. and Congress will have no say in the Matter. Curtis Ellis, executive director of American Jobs Alliance, Pat Mulloy, trade attorney and former member of the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission and Clyde Prestowitz, President of the Economic Strategy Institute and trade negotiator and former Commerce Department official in the Reagan administration speak at a Capitol Hill briefing held December 9, 2015.
